What our past interns had to say about working at Komen Austin:
Before Komen Austin I didn’t see my full potential, now after a single summer I know I am truly capable of accomplishing great things! Ashley B. Rocco, Graphic Design Intern – Summer 2014
I found the most value in having my own projects. I can say, “I made that happen!” (instead of, “I worked under someone who made all of this happen”). The best thing about the intern program at Komen Austin is that everyone works together. I’ll be leaving here with real hands on experience. Maggie Sheppard, Development Intern – Spring/Fall 2014
This internship has boosted my professionalism and skill set to levels I did not expect to develop to in a short few months- especially in regards to my public speaking, communication, ability to educate others on specific health topics, and organization skills. Katie Long, Mission Services Intern – Spring 2014
